‘Bringing a waterway to life’
This fascinating exhibition explores the history of Kendal’s Canal – how it shaped the town, and its gradual decline. Now, with plans to restore the waterway to the heart of Kendal, the exhibition will also discuss how the multi-million pound scheme will eventually breathe new life into the area around Canal Head.

Artefacts, old maps, pictures, options for the future,
children’s games, play canal and more.
