The Lancaster Canal Restoration Partnership will be holding their annual Northern Reaches Steering Group meeting on Monday 20 November 2006 at the Longlands Hotel, Tewitfield – 9.30am for a 10.00am start.

The Longlands Hotel is on the Cumbria/Lancashire boundary, just east of the M6 and Lancaster Canal. It is on the A6070 and can be approached from the north from junction 36 via Burton-in-Kendal or from the south via junction 35 and A6.

The Lancaster Canal Restoration Partnership would like to thank Waldenn Construction for accommodating the Tewitfield Marina site visit. The development will consist of a marina that will accommodate 60 moorings (120m X 35m) and 63 housing units (1,2 and 3 bedroom) overlooking the marina.
